Competing alongside Martin Van Zummeren at the Knysna Speed Festival (who we featured some time ago) was his son, Wade Van Zummeren in his Drift Monster, a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 powered by the Twin Turbo V6 engine from the GTR-R R35 but here stroked to 4.2L and producing 1000Hp.

As a car not originally made for the demands of Hilllcimb Racing, it was not the among the fastest cars of the event, but it was certainly one of the most spectacular with some very spectacular driving and quite wild behaviour all along the Simola Hillclimb.
