The fight for Overall victory on Knysna Simola Hillclimb 2017 saw Desmond Gutzeit and his outrageous 1400Hp Nissan Skyline R32 battle Wilhelm Baard on a modern Nissan GT-R R35.

Battling right through to the end for the top spot, the winner was the more modern R35, posting a 39.892 chrono, beating “Dezzi” by a very marginal 0.3 tenths, who posted a 40.114 chrono.
