RTMG Performance and DKU Performance were at Santa Pod Raceway again. This time for the VW Action Show. With a few tweaks to the car, including a bigger turbo, a built DQ250 gearbox, and new slicks to name but a few, they were ready to try and beat their PB of 8.77 @ 160mph, and climb the European FWD leaderboard, from their current 15th position.

In the end, they beat their PB 4 times over the weekend, with a best run of 8.499 @ 133mph. Why was the ET so low??? Well they lifted off at 900ft due to flywheel failure. They were doing 139mph at the 1/8 mile, and just 133mph at the 1/4 mile. Stats show it would have been very close to a 7 second run, if they could have kept the accelerator planted. Next time……….who knows !!!!

They have now moved up to number 9 on the leader board.
