The greatest dominator of the E1-2000cc Class in Italy this year is this spectacular Renault Clio driven by Giuseppe D´Angelo, and for those paying attention, this is a machine we have presented in the past, although in different colours.

This is the SAMO Competition Renault Clio that was built and driven by Luigi Sambuco until last year. With around 300Hp/9.000Rpm from it´s 2.0L Naturally Aspirated F4R Engine, this Front Wheel Drive Monster has benefitted from an intensive “diet” with most of its chassis spaceframed by now, making for a total weight little above 800Kg.

Add to that all the Aerodynamic work done, and you end up with one of the fastest 2000cc Class machines in all of Europe. Now on 2019, it is also wearing quite the striking livery, with Mr. D´Angelo really embracing the more monstruous side of this machine and dubbing it the “Black Mamba”, with a Viper logo right in the middle of the bonnet… Just so the competition knows what to expect…
