It’s time for a BMW M3 v BMW M3 drag race!! That’s right, Matt has got the new BMW M3 xDrive going head-to-head with the standard BMW M3 RWD, and he wants to see just how much performance differs between these saloon powerhouses.

Given they’re just AWD & RWD models, they’re powered by the exact same engine – a glorious 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six that puts down 510hp & 650Nm of torque. There are a few minor differences though…

The AWD system adds 50kg of weight compared to the RWD edition, and it’ll also cost you £3,000 more! So what do you think – does the RWD edition stand a chance? There’s only one way to find out – LET’S RACE!
