We’ve got this time an Ariel Atom 4R, and it’s going up against a BMW M4 Competition! The question is, do you think this little pocket rocket can take down a fully-fledged BMW M car? Let’s take a closer look.

The Atom 4R is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder that delivers 406hp and 500Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox, and it weighs in at only 665kg! As new, it’ll cost you around £80,000.

Up next is the BMW. Under the M4’s bonnet is a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six with 530hp and 650Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,775kg. As new, it costs around £91,000.
