Hyundai calls the RN22e Concept “a rolling laboratory”. It is not there to evolve into a production model, but more to discover what is possible and to show what Hyundai has to offer. However, the lab will not roll far. The “one only” model of the RN22e Concept crashes spectacularly at the Festival of Speed at Goodwood.

It is not clear how the crash happened. Was it understeer? Or did the brakes not work properly? You tell me. Fortunately, there are old-fashioned hay bales to catch the precious concept car. The driver got out and does not seem to have serious injuries from the crash.
