MRC Tuning were at the VWDRC Test Day at Santa Pod Raceway with their Daza RS3 powered Mk7 Golf R, which has been dyno’d at 1002bhp at 1020 NM. Aim of the day was to get into the 8’s, which they did, with an 8.949 at 159.59mh.

The reason I go in to the 1000ths, is because the other MRC tuned Golf R, belonging to Dave_7r, with a similar power figure, has run an 8.941 @ 159.62……so is 8ths of a second quicker. I do not know of any setups like this, running quicker times.
