New Urus SE v Purosangue v Cayenne Turbo v RSQ8 Perf: DRAG RACE

It’s time for an almighty SUV drag race!

We’ve got Yianni in his all-new Lamborghini Urus SE, and he’s facing off against Mat in the Porsche Cayenne Turbo e-hybrid, Tomi in his Purosangue, and Sam in the RSQ8 Performance! But does the all-new Urus have what it takes to snatch the win? Let’s take a closer look at the stats.

Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with an electric motor to produce 739hp and 950Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 2,495kg. As new, it costs around £166,000.

Then we have the Urus. Like the Porsche, it has a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor, and these combine for 800hp and 950Nm. This is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it’s the heaviest car here, tipping the scales at 2,505kg. It has a price tag of £208,000.

Up next is the Purosangue. It’s powered by a 6.5-litre NA V12, and this creates 725hp and 716Nm. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it’s the lightest car here, at 2,150kg. As new, it costs around £313,000.

Then finally we have the RSQ8 Performance. It’s packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, and this creates 640hp and 850Nm. This is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 2,275kg. As new, it costs around £140,000.

So the Urus has the most power, but will the huge weight prove decisive? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! For more content like this one follow us also on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram!
